This is a big question for all new users, so WOD provides you all of this information on how to recharge your account, there are many simple ways of doing so, just go through the ones given below and choose the way which will be the most easy one for you.

2)Recharge through IVRS

How to recharge through IVRS?

Call 1860425 7575 to recharge over the phone.

Enter your customer ID to identify yourself to system.

Follow simple step-by-step instructions to enter your credit card / Recharge Voucher details
a)Credit Card
Enter the 16-digit card number
Enter 4-digit expiry date and year
Enter 3-digit CVV (last 3-digits on the back of your card)

b)Recharge Voucher
Enter the 16-digit Recharge Voucher number


On successful authentication by bank. atom IVR shall read out transation details.


3) Axis Call & Pay on atom

Axis Call & Pay on atom
To avail the service you need to register your mobile number at any Axis Bank ATM.
Registration process - You can register in two simple steps:

Step 1: Registration at ATM

You need to register your mobile number for this service at any Axis Bank ATM.

Click on 'REGISTRATIONS' on the ATM Screen.
Under 'REGISTRATIONS', click on 'AXIS CALL & PAY ON ATOM' to register your 10 digit mobile number.

Step 2: Call from Axis Bank to set PIN

After registering your mobile number at the ATM, you will receive a call for setting of the PIN.
You will receive a call from Axis Bank within 3-5 minutes. To set PIN, you will require to enter your last 4 digit Debit card number and expiry date.
You can set a 6 digit PIN of your choice.

Payment process

Call Customer Care on 1860 425 7575
Confirm the details of the payment to be made and choose 'Debit Card' option for payment.
Enter your Axis Bank debit card number and your 6-digit PIN.
Your payment will be made successfully.


4) Recharge via SMS


a) How to Recharge your account?
For Airtel, Aircel, Vodafone, Reliance and BSNL users, type RCG<space><smart card number><space><pin number> send to 58585.
For Spice users (only karnataka) send to 55858 from your mobile


c)How to Register your Mobile number?
For Airtel, Aircel, Vodafone, Reliance and BSNL users, type RMN<space>Smartcard number to 58585.
For Spice users (only karnataka) send to 55858 from your mobile


d)How to check your account balance?
For Airtel, Aircel, Vodafone, Reliance and BSNL users, type BAL<space><smartcardno> send to 58585.
For Spice users (only karnataka) send to 55858 from your mobile.


5) Recharge via Mobile Application

Go to
http://www.sundirect.in/how-to-recharge.php
Click on recharge via MOBILE, enter your phone no. you will receive a link, go to that link and download the ATOM application and then use it to recharge your account.
OR
SMS <atom> to 54959 from your mobile.


6) ONLINE RECHARGE

a) Recharge via recharge voucher
Buy a recharge voucher form a dealer
Go to
https://selfcare.sundirect.in:8443/login.aspx
Enter your "smart card number" as username
and "password"(default) as password
Then click on top up, enter the 16 digit pin, your account will be recharged.

b) Recharge via Credit / Debit Card / Net Banking
Go to
http://www.sundirect.in/sundirect-online-recharge.php
and fill the details

c) Recharge through RECHARGEITNOW.COM
Steps to recharge
Log on to http://www.RechargeItNow.com
Register for their services using your mobile number and E-mailID
Select Sun Direct as your service provider
Enter your Smartcard number and recharge it using your credit card,debit card or net banking.


7) Recharge via OXIGEN

To use Oxigen, you will have to register yourself on
http://www.oxicash.in
Then using net banking or credit / debit card you can recharge your sun direct account.



8) Recharge via EPRS

How to recharge your Sun Direct DTH account via EPRS?
EPRS provides two easy & convenient options to recharge your account.

a) TopUp your account:
A Sun Direct DTH Customer can directly Topup his account from an EPRS retailer
Steps to be followed:
Contact your nearest EPRS recharge centre
Provide the smart card ID and the fixed amount to the EPRS retailer.
The Retailer will do the recharge through sms or through the EPRS web application.
The retailer will get an immediate confirmation and collect the amount from you.
You will get a Email when you switch on the setup box.

b) Purchase Your Pin:
A Sun Direct DTH Customer can purchase easy recharge vouchers from EPRS retailers and do the recharge himself.
Steps to be followed:
Contact the nearest EPRS recharge centre
Provide the amount and quantity of the vouchers needed, to the retailer.
The Retailer will issue you an unique 16 digit pin no. using EPRS sms service or EPRS web application.
The Retailer can get up to 25 pins in a single purchase transaction.

A Sun Direct DTH Customer can use any of the following recharge modes to activate his account with the valid pin.

Call the Sun Direct Customer care number.
Provide the smartcard number and the 16-digit pin number
Your account will get recharged according to the denomination

SMS option
For Airtel, Aircel, Vodafone, Reliance and BSNL users, type

and send to 58585. For Spice users (only karnataka) send to 55858 from your mobile

Customer can also use the OEA Topup Engine.

Here you can recharge your account, subscribe to basic pack, choose add-on's and check all other details related to your sun direct account.

You can also do sun direct recharge online, in this case you just have credit / debit or net banking facility in your account, A WELL KNOWN SITE which do all dth recharges is rechargefreak, you just need 5 steps to recharge your dth

Recharge Sun Direct Steps:

1) Enter your 11 digit card number.
2) Select your service provider "Sun Direct"
3) Enter the recharge amount you wish to recharge.
4) Log into rechargefreak.com and register yourself.
5) Select the payment option (credit card/debit card/netbanking account).
